That simply isn't true. Almost all cars for the last 25+ years have had window switches that cut the compressor off if the pressure falls below a preset level, and if pressure rises above another level. On an F10 the ac pressure switches operable window should be 30-480PSI +- a few psi.
racooper3. 449 posts · Joined 2011. #6 · May 10, 2015. This code 9C7B is the interior temp sensor fan. Mine is blowing hot air on windshield too. The A/C in face vents is ice cold. The little fan is located in the A/C controller module that is in the dash.
I have a 2008 X5 4.8i E70. When heat is turned on it will blow hot on the passenger side and cold on the driver's side face and foot vents. This remains constant. The cold air coming from the driver's side seems to be whatever the outside temperature is (not confirmed). A/C works well on both sides. I have checked vent settings and coolant already.

It probably has one or more blue bars as opposed to the red. Center vent temps are independent of the temperature knob setting. . 324 467 430 4 351 341 346 343
